Staging Solutions has reached the point where revenue growth can’t depend on founder heroics or ad-hoc selling. We’re hiring a Director of Revenue to build a repeatable, inspectable revenue engine.

 

Your mandate is simple and demanding:

 

● Create qualified demand against a clear Ideal Customer Profile
● Convert that demand through a disciplined, observable sales process
● Produce a forecast leadership trusts
● Scale revenue without relying on last-minute saves or heroic effort
You are accountable for both designing the revenue system and ensuring it performs quarter after quarter.

 

What you’ll own

 

Revenue & demand creation

 

● Own net-new and expansion revenue targets
● Define and refine the ICP in partnership with leadership
● Build predictable top-of-funnel demand with marketing and business development
● Eliminate low-quality pipeline and non-ICP distractions

 

Sales execution & process

 

● Design and run a defined, stage-based sales process from first contact to close
● Ensure every opportunity is qualified, documented, and inspectable
● Drive consistent deal progression, deal hygiene, and close rates
● Personally engage in complex, high-value deals when needed

 

Forecasting & operating rhythm

 

● Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts leadership can rely on
● Establish clear pipeline coverage rules and inspection cadence
● Own CRM integrity, reporting, and leading indicators
● Translate pipeline reality into clear revenue expectations

 

Team leadership & development

 

● Lead and develop Executive Producers and Business Development talent
● Set clear performance standards, goals, and accountability
● Coach to behaviors, not just outcomes
● Build a culture of ownership, preparation, and continuous improvement

 

Cross-functional leadership

 

● Partner with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and ICP targeting
● Work closely with creative and operations to ensure sellable, deliverable solutions
● Represent the voice of the customer internally while protecting margin and execution

 

What success looks like in 12–18 months

 

● Revenue is predictable, not hopeful
● Pipeline quality is high and consistently qualified
● Forecast accuracy improves materially quarter over quarter
● Deals move through a visible process, not gut feel
● The company scales without founder involvement in day-to-day selling

 

What we’re looking for

 

Experience

 

● 7+ years leading sales in events, experiential marketing, creative services, or adjacent B2B services
● Proven ownership of multi-million-dollar revenue targets
● Experience building or rebuilding a sales process, not just inheriting one
● Demonstrated forecasting accuracy and pipeline discipline

 

Skills

 

● Strong financial and commercial judgment
● Comfortable presenting and negotiating at the C-suite level
● Deep CRM fluency and respect for data integrity
● Ability to balance relationship selling with rigorous qualification
