Overview

Cotality’s INTRConnect is a premier, 3-day property insurance and restoration conference. In 2026, the gathering offered industry leaders a full agenda of keynotes, training, and networking focusing on AI, data, and navigating shifting market trends. After three years of collaborating on increasingly complex events the challenge was to raise that bar yet again, and this time in an unconventional venue in National Harbor, MD.

Highlights

The infinity ballroom posed unusual challenges for traditional lighting and visual design approach, as it featured windows on three sides – including one wall facing the Potomac River. Many, including the CEO, were skeptical of what could be accomplished; yet, our relationship with this client, and the level of trust that we have built as a collaborative partner, encouraged the CEO, his team, and his creative director to embrace this departure from the norm.

Our task was to help the team elevate their ideas into real stage moments, and exceed their expectations of high-concept storytelling by leveraging our custom fabrication and technology design. We appreciate that the CEO is keen on maximizing the emotional impact of his remarks, and is willing to reach beyond his comfort zone to achieve greater results.

Outcome

Our team created a scenic environment that combined practical stage design with large-scale digital visuals, giving the keynote a dynamic backdrop throughout the conference. A precisely timed window reveal added a memorable moment that reinforced the client’s reputation as an industry innovator.
