As a creative event production company, we’re so excited that Staging Solutions was mentioned on the Houston’s Best Places to Work Right Now list from the Houstonia Magazine. This year we took home Honorable Mention for the Coolest Office Space award.
We have to agree. Our office is one of the highlights of the amazing company culture here at Staging Solutions. With such a creative team, an innovative space is essential. Our space is truly an oasis for the team to come rejuvenate between events. It’s the mothership you come back to after a wildly successful and exhausting week on show-site to recoup, reconnect, and prepare for the next one.
We moved into our new space in December of 2014 after relocating from our office in the Heights, where the company was started back in 1997. The building was originally a warehouse that housed a schoolbook distribution company. The shell of the warehouse remained intact and we converted almost half of the interior space into usable office space. The rest remained a warehouse where we set up our scenic design shop.
The building was designed with an open concept in order to support collaborative efforts amongst all departments. This makes it easy to breeze between production and creative while also encouraging team meetings and group brainstorming sessions. All of which can be done via scooter transportation in the hallways.
Our office supports more than just a successful work environment. Let’s not forget about fitness breaks to play HORSE on the loading dock turned basketball court where production managers moonlight as James Harden. For more outdoor fun, we have a soccer/dog park/hammock lounge all surrounding an outdoor kitchen.
Perhaps the best part of our space is what happens in it after work hours. Triannually, every third Thursday of the month we host “Thirsty 3rd Thursday” (T3T) to treat our team and corporate event production partners to a food, drink, and fun themed evening. Our kitchen, meeting spaces, and warehouse are transformed into full bars, karaoke rooms, and haunted houses. If it’s not quite the third Thursday of the month, you can still catch us cooking something special for our internal tradition, Fajita Friday every week of the month.
At Staging Solutions, this creative event production company works hard, plays hard, and eats well all under the inventive roof of our very cool office home.
